Delete your account
This page lets you delete your Whale VPN account and the personal data linked to it — no app installation required. You can also start deletion inside the app, from the account screen.
What happens when you confirm
Your account is disabled immediately: all sessions are signed out and your subscription stops working. After a 7-day grace period the account is permanently deleted.
Data that will be deleted
- Account identity: email address, password, subscription identifiers and tokens
- Support tickets and their messages
- Invite codes, per-account traffic statistics and connection logs
- Emails we sent you (mail log) and email verification records
- Device records and session/analytics events linked to your account on our servers
Data that is kept, and why
- Order, payment and commission records are kept to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — after deletion they are no longer linked to any identifiable person.
- Anonymous device statistics that contain no account identity are kept for at most 180 days, then removed automatically.
The 7-day grace period
Deletion becomes permanent after 7 days. Until then you can cancel it on this page (see "Cancel a deletion request") with the same email verification. Once the period ends, the data listed above is deleted permanently and cannot be restored.
Guest accounts created inside the app without an email address can only be deleted from the app itself (account screen → Delete account); they are removed immediately, without a grace period.
